On sale is the first ever ‘Laser Games Center’ on Mallorca (already hugely popular in the UK, USA, etc) located in the heart of the night life part of largest leisure center on the island. The business is brand new but already has success written all over it.
The centre has been created on a proven formula with the owner taking the franchise rights for Europe, this centre being the first and intended as a showcase business from which others will follow.
The premises are both modern and impressive, boasting a large 200m2 floor area with a reception, client cloakrooms and the main games arena. Prominent signage and frontage, large terraces.
Games have different themes created in a futuristic style with neons and strobes. Generally, there are 2 opposing groups with each player having a special vest and a gun linked to computers. The players are then sent into a maze to do battle. There are also games without teams.
Some serious advertising and promotion is currently taking place via radios, newspapers, nightclubs, discos, etc. Open in the afternoons till midnight, 7 days a week, weekends are the busiest. At present, the owner charge 5€ per person. The game last for 10 minutes, maximum 10 people.
